JOB TITLE: IT Technical Program Manager
JOB DUTIES: Lead, coordinate and execute strategic initiatives and manage operational aspects of software delivery. Create/Manage plans throughout the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure successful release. Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company. Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel. Delegate project tasks based on individual resource’s strengths, skill sets and experience levels. Lead internal review sessions to discuss issues and questions related to requirements documentation; work with business stakeholders to review and resolve issues. Perform business dependency analysis and conduct risk assessment of the project. Communicate with many levels of the organization, business stakeholders/SME, project managers, system architects and quality assurance regarding issues, dependencies, risks and progress. Focus on workflow analysis & design, business process reengineering, and process flow modeling. Plan and direct the work of other IT professionals. May supervise up to four computer systems analysts/technical business analysts/developers/product owners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field. Also required is two years of experience in any Software Development ,Computer Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst Occupations with gathering business requirements and translating into technical specifications in Jira or Confluence, developing Web, iOS, Android applications using JavaScript, Angular, Rest APIs. This experience must also demonstrate work with build and deployment of applications to different environments using Jenkins automation server and Bower/NPM as a package manager, and with GitHub for code review, code collaboration, and platform version control.
In lieu of the Master’s degree and two years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in any of the above described majors and five years of experience in any in any Software Development, Computer Systems Analyst Occupation or Technical Business Analyst Occupations with gathering business requirements and translating into technical specifications in Jira or Confluence, developing Web, iOS, Android applications using JavaScript, Angular, Rest APIs. This experience must also demonstrate work with build and deployment of applications to different environments using Jenkins automation server and Bower/NPM as a package manager, and with GitHub for code review, code collaboration, and platform version control.
JOB LOCATION: Genius Minds, LLC, 1201 Pacific Avenue, Suite 600, Tacoma, Washington, 98402 and unanticipated job locations throughout the USA. Requires travel/relocation to client sites in different states in the USA.
